Hi I’m Azalea and I was handed to the vet as a stray and remained unclaimed.
I’m a young confident adult that knows her own mind and my foster mum says I have a bit of cattitudie (I prefer the word character) so I might not be everyone’s cup of tea!
I do like fuss and attention but I can get over stimulated and sometimes use my claws and teeth to let you know. I love my fleeces and will knead and purr away with joy. My favourite toys are balls and other things I can knock about and laser pens. Dangly toys on sticks I can take or leave sometimes I really like them and other times they make me cross and I growl at them – no one knows why least of all me!
I like my food and I’m not fussy on the variety and have excellent toilet habits – see it’s not all bad 🤣
I wouldn’t be suited to live with young children but older children such as teenagers would be a possibility as long as they are aware of what behaviours I may exhibit. The same goes for the adults too – I may be best with experienced cat owners.
Other cats are a definite no I really dislike them
I would like a home with outdoor access away from any busy/main roads
I am neutered microchipped and vaccinated as well as being up to date with flea and worm treatment
I’m being fostered in Ilkeston where visits will be actual visits rather than virtual visits as internet connection isn’t great
I’m now ready to visit. Please email the rescue firstname.lastname@example.org to request an adoption questionnaire
