Mumsy

Hi I’m Mumsy and I have quite a sad story to tell. I came into rescue as I was giving birth unfortunately I lost 3 of my kittens but 3 survived. Then 3 weeks later we got diagnosed with ringworm. That’s all cleared up now and I’m fit and well.

I am a lovely friendly cat that loves to sit on your knee and rub your face whilst purring. I love human company but I’m also ok being left on my own when you do those boring things like work and shopping….

As a young cat I’m very playful and athletic and can jump great heights after my toys, though my favourites are chasing balls and the laser pen. I like little people too and will sit cuddling up to my foster carers daughter. However when I’m playing I can mistake hands for toys so would need children that are old enough to understand not to stroke me when I’m playing.

My fur is clean soft and silky and at the moment I need no help with grooming unless you want to.

I have been fine indoors whilst in foster care and would be happy to continue to do so though one of my favourite habits is to sit on the cat tree watching the birds and wildlife. If I am going to have outdoor access it must be away from any busy/main roads.

I have a bit of a sensitive tummy and I am on purina hypoallergenic food only which is available online at a reasonable price. Having dry food only I will also need plenty of fresh water. I also only like to use the wood pellet litter.

Although I wasn’t keen on my kittens I’m very interested in the resident cats and I think I would like a playmate though they may have to teach me when to stop

I have had a PCR test for fiv which was negative and also tested negative for FeLV

I am neutered microchipped and vaccinated as well as being up to date with flea and worm treatment

I am being fostered in Mickleover Derby

Please note that I’m not yet available so no enquiries are being taken Handsfreeadoption
