Willow

Hello, I’m Willow an older kitten who came into Rescue when I was found wandering. I wasn’t microchipped and no one came forward to claim me.

When I first came into rescue, I didn’t want to leave the foster room where I felt safe and I am still nervous when new people come into the house. This means I might take a while to come out of my shell in a new home. But if you give me time and patience I’ll become confident. I like a lot of attention and affection. I like to sit on your lap for hours, especially if you are sitting in bed or on the floor.

If I feel like I’m not getting your full attention I can sometimes be a little naughty and scratch the carpet. I also sometimes nip you gently if you are looking at your phone instead of stroking me. So if there are children in my new home they ideally be a little older and cat savvy. I have tried very hard to make friends with the resident cat but she isn’t interested. We can sit peacefully in the same room though. So I would be fine in a home with a calm cat or two, with the right introductions. It took me a while to start playing but now I enjoy catnip mice. I like looking out of the window and was previously used to spending a lot of time outside so I need safe outside access away from busy or main roads. My foster Mum says I am a lovely girl who will make the right person or family very happy.

Willow is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment and on adoption will come with 5 weeks free pet insurance from Agria.
