Mr Jeeves came into Rescue on 18th Jan having been handed into our vet as a stray over a week previously. He was then about 2 years old, was not microchipped or wearing a collar and was not neutered and no-one came forward to claim him.

He is a very talkative and handsome young gentleman who loves having fuss and will purr away and headbutt you for more. He loves human company and will follow you around from room to room just to be with you all the time so he will make a perfect companion.

He’s a playful, friendly and affectionate companion who loves to play with feathers or balls on a stick and he’s just taken a liking to balls in a track as long as you play with him.

In his previous foster home he was fine with the cat savvy children there, but as he’s not keen on loud noises any children in his new home will need to be cat savvy and over 8 years.

In his current foster home he has now met some of the resident cats and has got on fine with them so with careful introductions he should be OK with another cat that is calm and gentle. However, he may prefer to be the only cat so he gets all the attention from his humans.

So far, he’s shown no interest in going outside and seems perfectly content living the cozy, warm indoor life, as long as he’s entertained. Eventually though, he may want to explore the outside world in a safe garden away from any busy or main roads.

Mr. Jeeves had a bit of trouble some months ago with over-grooming, but that has now been resolved.

He has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. On adoption he will come with 5 weeks free pet insurance from Agria.
