Victor is about 1yr old, and came into Rescue on 19th Aug having been straying for some time in a lady’s garden in the centre of Borrowash. He was not neutered or microchipped and despite posting on several social media sites and putting a paper collar on him no owner came forward to claim him.
He absolutely loves having lots of fuss and will jump up on your knee for fuss and cuddles and is fine being picked up. At night he’s a very good boy and sleeps in his own room on top of his cat tree.
He’s a very playful young man and will chase after anything, but his preferred toy is feathers on a stick. He also loves cardboard boxes with paper in so he can jump in and out and also play hide and seek.
He is fine in his foster home with children over 10yrs but he did meet a 4yr old and he went into hiding. It was his first meeting so with time he may be OK with young children in the home but they will need to be cat savvy.
He likes sitting at the window longingly watching the outside world and if he sees anything move in the garden he’s desperate to try to get to it. So eventually, once he’s settled in his new home, he will need a safe garden to explore away from any busy or main roads.
Victor is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment and on adoption will come with 5 weeks free pet insurance from Agria.
In foster care in Trowell, NG9.
To enquire about adopting him please email the Rescue at linascatrescue@gmail.com and we’ll send the adoption questionnaire to complete and return.
