Violet came into Rescue on 4^th Feb 2026 having been straying and being fed by a kind lady in her garden for about a year. She was microchipped but the owner didn’t want her back as they now have a dog.

Violet is a beautiful 12-year-old lady looking for her forever home, and she truly is a joy to have around. She has settled wonderfully into indoor life in her foster home and is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loves nothing more than curling up next to her person for cuddles and lots of fuss. She’s the perfect companion if you’re looking for a calm, loving presence in your home.

She has a great appetite and is eating and drinking well, is fully litter trained with no issues and has excellent indoor manners. Violet sleeps soundly through the night and is happiest either snoozing in a cosy spot or snuggled up with you.

Although she’s a mature cat, she still has a very playful side and enjoys gentle playtime—especially with anything string-like.  She also loves being brushed, making grooming a lovely bonding experience.

Violet would be best suited to a home with no other pets or very young children. She values her peace and would thrive in a quiet, calm household where she can fully relax and enjoy her surroundings. She has so much love to give and will make a truly wonderful addition to the right home.

Violet is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and up to date with flea and worm treatment and has had a health check blood test and all is normal. On adoption she will come with 5 weeks free pet insurance from Agria.
